Good questions
Do I need Excel?
No. The Google Sheets version is free with any Google account and is always included. If you prefer Excel, you need Microsoft 365 or Excel 2024.
How do I get my tracker?
Right after checkout you get instant access to your download. Nothing is shipped.
Do I get both Dark and Light?
Yes. You get both files with exactly the same features, so you can choose the look you like.
Can I use it on my iPad or phone?
Yes, through the Google Sheets or Excel app. For the first setup we recommend a laptop or desktop, then you can update your books from any device.
Do I need spreadsheet skills?
No. You only fill in the white cells. Every colored cell holds a formula that updates by itself, and the Instructions tab walks you through each step.
How do book covers work?
Add the cover image in the Cover cell of your Book Log. It then shows in your gallery, shelves and dashboard automatically.
Can I track audiobooks?
Yes. Track progress by pages or by minutes listened, and the progress bar updates either way.
Can I change the genres and lists?
Yes. Genres, sub-genres, formats, priorities, sources and ratings are all editable in the Setup tab and appear in every dropdown.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the files are yours to keep.
